NFEIs is a faith-rooted empowerment organisation operating at the intersection of prayer, financial wisdom, and practical social action – across four transformational initiatives.
Our Story
NFEIs began in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, as a response to a pattern our founder kept encountering: an organisation as well as people carrying real, practical needs – the mismatch gap, a job search, a debt, a lonely season, a prayer they'd stopped saying out loud – with nowhere that treated all four as connected. Most support programmes pick one need and address it in isolation. We built NFEIs around the idea that financial dignity, community belonging, employment, and spiritual life reinforce each other, and that lasting change happens when they're addressed together.
Today that conviction is expressed through four initiatives – IEI, FDI, HCI, and PII – and through HeartilyS, the platform that connects them into one ongoing relationship rather than four separate transactions.

How It Actually Works
Six steps describe the real path a person moves through with NFEIs – in the order it actually happens, not an idealised one.
Through HeartilyS, a community event, or a direct referral – someone tells us what they're facing.
Every intake is met first with a named intercessor and a 48-hour response commitment, regardless of what practical support follows.
A person is introduced to a small group or mentor so the relationship outlasts the immediate need.
Where money is the immediate pressure, a stewardship plan is built together – not handed down.
Employment coaching and employer introductions turn stabilisation into independence.
People who've moved through the circle often become the mentors and intercessors for the next person who arrives.

Accountability
NFEIs commits to ring-fencing every contribution to the initiative it was given for, and reporting back on it. Here is what that commitment looks like in practice today, and honestly, where the reporting itself is still in progress.

NFEIs was founded in 2025. Our first annual report, including audited financials and beneficiary reach, is in preparation and will be published here once complete – not retrofitted with placeholder numbers in the meantime.
